A bright screen lights up the face, which helps the camera find the eyes.

Pointing · ነጥብ ማድረሻ

Head pointing is measured far more precisely than eye direction, so it helps most with up and down. Each choice needs its own calibration. 📖 If calibration is a struggle

Select by · መምረጫ

For a child who can make one deliberate face, a gesture selects the tile they are looking at, with no waiting and no accidental picks. A long blink is the eyes shut for half a second: the tile they were on is kept while the eyes are closed. Each must be released before it can select again.

For a child who can press one thing but cannot aim: a switch, any key (Space, Enter, 1, 2) or a tap anywhere on the tiles. Bluetooth switches such as the Blue2 send those keys.

Press with the face

The camera as the switch, for a child who can make one movement of the face on purpose. No calibration. The movement is held a moment before it counts, and let go before it counts again. With "Press to move", a short movement moves and holding it for a second chooses. Find which movement works in the lab.
